Sick Boy heeft ons pasgeleden gemailed over zijn nieuwe EP genaamd “Energy Blast”. Hij is bekend van zijn feesten door heel Nederland zoals Poptrash, Hard! en Legacy Kids Club. Onlangs heeft hij al zijn naam gevestigd dankzij onder andere een edit van “Kick It” en een remix van “Schism”, beide van Motor (gereleased op Dim Mak).

Sick Boy komt steeds harder aanzetten. En dat merk je ook in zijn laatste EP “Energy Blast”. Want wat een energie zit er in die EP! Naast de orginele mix van Energy Blast, bezit de EP nog remixes van Jasko,Tom Deluxx, Markus Lange & Stereofunk en LaTourette. De EP cover had echter wel wat mooier gemogen.. “Sick Boy, since many years Host of the famous “Poptrash” Parties in the Netherlands and A&R of BlackLabel Records shared the decks around the world with such names like Justice, Steve Aoki, MSTRKRFT, Feadz, Sinden, AC Slater, D.I.M., Les Petits Pilous, The Toxic Avenger, Mustard Pimp and many more and in 2010 he will play again the SXSW Festival in the USA beside Boys Noize and lots of other great DJ`s. He released on DIM MAK and Kinetika Records and was asked to remix big Names like Stereoheroes (on Crux), Dirty Disco Youth (on Kinetika) and Motor (on DIM MAK). His trademark sound is a mix of Old Skool House mixed with Nu Skool Rave with a Grunge Composition Style. Now he releases a fantastic EP on KIEZ BEATS.
