BMKLTSCH RCRDS Going Big!
The record label BMKLTSCH RCRDS, run by no other than Boemklatsch, is having some busy days this period.
Boemklatsch is known for their acts on festivals like Lowlands and their party in Utrecht called “Dum Dum”, previously with famous artists like DatA, Switch, MSTRKRFT and many more. With the Boemklatsch debutalbum “Sponaneous Combustion” coming up, C-Mon & Kypski’s fourth album just released and EP’s that are just released, the label from Utrecht thought it would be nice to share some with us, and we thankfully received the promo’s.
Nobody Beats The Drum – Dirty Monkey EP
Tracklist:
Nobody Beats The Drum – Dirty Monkey
Nobody Beats The Drum – Dirty Monkey (RipTidE remix)
Nobody Beats The Drum – Dirty Monkey (Max Morrell remix)
Nobody Beats The Drum – Over & Over
Nobody Beats The Drum – Over & Over (Slagmalsklubben remix)
Big time live electro act Nobody Beats The Drum got pretty famous on the net with their extraordinary videoclips and footage of their live shows. After their debutalbum ‘Beats Work’ they’re now releasing their second EP called Dirty Monkey.
“Dirty Monkey” has a rough and hard sound, along with a great vibe to get loose and jump around during a big party. Riptide has done a terrific remix, proving once more he is a very talented artist. His remix is pretty much pounding all the way, plus a rough bass underneath it.
Just like the first track does “Over & Over” have a rough bass that keeps on shredding through the whole track. It also contains some slight spacey elements, which are to be heard even clearer in the Slagmalsklubben Remix, which is a pounding techno track with many space-elements in it.
Boemklatsch – Noisy EP
Tracklist:
Boemklatsch – Noisy
Boemklatsch – Noisy (Baskerville remix)
Boemklatsch – Noisy (D-Fine remix)
Boemklatsch – Noisy(Danjah & Ralph May remix)
Boemklatsch – Reflex
Boemklatsch – Reflex (Jaimie Fanatic remix)
Boemklatsch – Reflex (Schlachthofbronx remix)
With over more then 30 European festivals last summer and it’s upcoming debut Album “Spontaneous Cumbustion”, Boemklatsch is bound to be seen on even more festivals this summer.
This EP of theirs shows their identity once more; namely a hard party. Boemklatsch knows how to build up a track to its maximum and then tear the roof off. This can be found in the Noisy EP with the two tracks “Noisy” and “Reflex” to be named as crazy-ass loud bass electro. A big worth mentioning is the Jamie Fanatic Remix of “Reflex”. This remix is an extraordinary good example of how to cut up sounds and creating a remix that pushes the track to a new and different level. It has to be said that this remix does show some resemblances with the Tiga Remix of Boys Noize’s “Transmission”, but perhaps that was an inspiration for the Dutch remixer.
C-Mon & Kypski – Turn Of The Tides EP
Tracklist:
C-mon & Kypski – ‘Turn Of The Tides’
C-mon & Kypski – ‘Turn Of The Tides’ (Edu K remix)
C-mon & Kypski – ‘Turn Of The Tides’ (Estaw remix)
C-mon & Kypski – ‘Burning Hot’
C-mon & Kypski – ‘Burning Hot’ (Boemklatsch remix)
Indie band C-mon & Kypski just released their fourth album and released a remix EP on BMKLTSCH RCRDS.
Turn Of The Tides is a really funky EP, full of Electro glitches, together with robotic vocals and even some soft metal rock in it! A very interesting EP, which shows the diversity of C-Mon & Kypski and its uniqueness in the music business. Though most of the remixes are a pretty let-down.
Mike Mago – I Don’t Give A EP
Tracklist:
Mike Mago – I Don’t Give A
Mike Mago – Ready For The Action
Our New York friends from Subdrive are going to release the Mike Mago “I Don’t Give A” EP.
Mike Mago, who probably can be named as the main character behind Boemklatsch and BMKLTSCH RCRDDS, makes another turn than Boemklatsch, with releasing a more Electro House EP like “I Don’t Give A” on another label. Though with the track “I Don’t Give A” you can hear a sound similar to Boemklatsch pretty well, which is no surprise. In here, the beat and especially the build-up to the drop, is very typical for Boemklatsch, creating a climax with a vocal on top and then dropping the beat, as the party is officially begun.
We will definitely hear much of Boemklatsch and BMKLTSCH RCRDS in the future, so stay tuned!
