On the 24th of September they will keep their first edition of GirlsLoveDJs in the new place to be in the port of Rotterdam (Halte Maashaven) called “Nieuwe Oogst”. It’s been a while since they’ve been in Rotterdam and what we know from the last edition of Kruipend Naar Huis XL, there is a huge amount of party people in the area of Rotterdam and The Hague. So why not organizing a new GLDJs night. We can guarantee you, you’ll be experiencing a whole new level after the 24th.

The Line-up exists of:

Jeremaine S who’s publics favorite by the party people in Rotterdam. Jeremaine gained popularity rapidly and soon started up his first succesfull party concept called “fris” (fresh). He caught the attention of the well respected party promotor “Urban Groovezz” who asked him to play at Pacha in Rotterdam. At this moment he is the resident and programmer of Ted Langenbach’s Now-Wow, Rotterdams most popular Superclub. As well as in jimmy woo, panama, off corso, zebra, sinners now and wow.

Jaziah was born and raised in Amsterdam. He buys his first set of turntables at the age of 17. His natural talent for mixing and scratching develops quickly and soon he starts playing at parties and local clubs in Amsterdam. From 2001 Jaziah plays at almost all major clubs and festvals in Holland. Clubs like Paradiso, Now&Wow, Panama, and Jimmy Woo.

The Flexican featuring his homeboy Sef (from Flinke Namen). Born in Mexico and raised with all kinds of different sounds and inspired by band such as Pink Floyd, Guns ‘n Roses and U2 Thomás was able to create his own taste of music and so on he created himself the Flexican, the DJ who linked the gritty world of hip hop to the ever-evolving world of dance and everything that lies in between.

The Partysquad, whose name already says a lot. they’re a two-man crew DJ Jerry and mc/host Ruben have rocked almost every spot and venue possible. Whether it’s the Amsterdam Arena filled with 30.000 people or an intimate residency, they’ll move the crowd regardless. They started playing together back in ’99 in the legendary Club Margaritas, which was based in the heart of Amsterdam city. Ever since, it’s almost impossible to imagine a Dutch club scene without these two entertainers.

MC Alainde Lon has always been busy with music, wether as a rapper or a DJ. His current status is chilling and enjoy life mostly we’ll see him with a cold beer and a microphone in his hand, besides it’s also possible you know him as one of the founders of ‘Lijfstijl’ in Rotterdam, but what you don’t know is that this guys is one crazy old skull b-boy is, so watch out.

Phalerieau is a Dutch TV Host who started a few years ago as DJ. Not because he wants to earn some extra cash but because he loves the turntablism since he was a little kid..well, he still kinda is. With a passion for electronic equipment and beats it isn’t strange he hit the decks. Melly Mel and Jaziah gave him some extra lessons and he spends many hours behind the toys of noise.

As GirlsLoveDJs appears everywhere over the country, with the support of DJs all over the world, we support them as well.

Not so long ago Quinten 909 was signed at GirlsLoveDJsRecords. Within a few weeks his first release Sophia – not to confuse with Silva from Miike Snow – hits the ground. This release will contain remixes by The Kool Kids friends’ Homework and from Extra Medium. Soon after he will have his second release “Closer To Me”. This record has been created along with Mayhem, the “talkbox genius” from the US – known for collabs with Plump DJ’s, Louis La Roche, Pendulum and more. This release will also contain a remix by Tom Trago.

Besides releases for GirlsLoveDJs there are some remixes of his that will strike the label from Patrick Alavi “RoXour”. The remixes that are going to be released on the label are from “Call Me” by Silver Disco and “How Much That Means To Me” by Patrick Alavi himself.
According to the Quinten dude it’s “going to be really cool!”, so we can’t wait whether it’s worthy our coolness.

But, what we do find cool for sure is the follow lovely pieces of art music Quinten909 has sent us! The first one we’re going to talk about is Fred Falke – When I Look Into Your Eyes (Quinten 909 Rework). This rework of the lovely French House artist is really smooth and slightly more banging than the original. As usual for French House music, this tune gives you a lovely French “summer at the lake between te mountains in the sun shine” vibe. Easy listening, excellent to enjoy and feel happy about.

The second track we’re going to excite you with is another remix, namely Keenhouse – Ari-es (Quinten 909 Remix). Now this remix is a lot more spacey than the first – I wouldn’t say experimental as quite keened out. This track is lovely for dreaming about future achievements, thinking of old love affairs and all the so-and-so.

Last but not least! Quinten 909 sent us the Heartbreaker EP he did with Leonardus! This one will guarantee you a “happy listening” experience. The summer vibe through the guitars are all about happy dancin’ and disco! With this EP he continues his way of being an artist in the groove of his sound, feeling the vibe, and when saxophones come along, you know that summer won’t be far away! The EP is a collaboration with Leonardus and contains the tracks “Heartbreaker”, “Dreamer”, “Show The World” and “Eye To Eye”.
